I have a hp pavilion computer with windows 98 on it. I also have a Samsung 32 inch LCD. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of cable do I need to hook up my computer to my TV so I can watch movies off of my computer on my TV. Thank you.

id like to hook up my new 32 inch lcd hdtv to my computer and use that as the monitor, but ive heard that it can a) blow your video card and b) not look good unless you have specific hardware.
id like to know what i would need to do this, i know my tv has hdmi, rca, component, vga, and a few others, but will i need a new video card, i probably will because my computer is sort of old, what would work best for me

hey guys i just got this 32 inch hdtv and have it looking okay but i dont know exactly what resolution i need to put it in and when i watch movies if i need to change formats on the t.v. or computer to make it h.d. its plugged in through hdmi cable. And another question i have this 720p movie that i try playing but it lags alot so its not even watchable do you know how to fix that? do i need a new video card, mines not great but i think its okay or is it just the video. other videos work great also. just that one being weird. Any suggestions?

I’m trying to decide if whether i should get a 32 inch HDTV to use as a computer monitor or just buy a 24 inch LCD computer monitor. Which would be better for gaming with first person shooter type games. Also I would use it to play xbox360 and ps3. Which monitor would I get the best resolution out of?

Hey im planning to get the smallest size 1080p an thats a 32″ and im looking at a Sony Bravia XBR 32″ 1080p flat screen LCD HDTV…would it be safe if i use it as my computer screen an switch it of to my ps3?

I want to connect my Sony HDTV to my HP Pavilion. My HP Pavilion doesn’t Have an HDMI port so I have a cable that connects from my computers DVI port to the TVs HDMI. The TV is recognized by the computer and I’ve enabled it as a second monitor, but the TV says there is no input in its HDMI port. Anybody got any suggestions?

the native resolution for the HDTV is 1366 by 768 but it isn’t an option from the control panel. I want the best resolution possible. any thoughts??

Hey! I’m in the UK and have downloaded a few programmes that I can’t get here and would like to know how to upload British shows for friends in the States.
Would like to know how to do in HDTV which includes the sound as well as the great picture quality, does anyone know how to do this at all?
I’m using a Mac by the way!
