How Do I Get My Xbox 360 To Display A Picture When Connecting It To My New Sharp Hdtv?
When i connect my 360 to my Sharp HDTV, even after plugging in all 5 correct cables and switching the xbox plug to HDTV instead of standard, noting appears on my screen, i only get sound.
if you’ve got 5 cables, you’re using COMPONENT video, NOT HDMI…. HDMI uses ONE cable.
Adjusting things accordingly will most likely fix your issue.
3 things to check
make sure the cables you are using are good. you would be surprised at how many times it is because of a bad cable.
make sure the cables (red/blue/green for video and red/white for audio) are connected to the right jacks on the sharp
go into the sharp menu and make sure you choose component video (not hdmi) for the input you are using
