Component Vs. Hdmi On A Xbox 360?

I need help deciding whether or not I should sell my current Xbox 360. I have the original version without HDMI. I am wondering if it would be worth it to sell my Xbox 360 and then buy the version with the HDMI output. I am wondering if there is any real difference between the two. I play my Xbox 360 on a 32 inch 720p LCD HDTV made by LG. Thanks!

  1. HDMI only makes a difference on TVs that are bigger then yours running at 1080p.

  2. i have a Sharp Aquos 32″ LCD TV, and i did not notice a significant difference between component and HDMI. It may be better and more convenient, but it does not warrant buying a new XBOX. Plus, original XBOXes are not worth much because they are out of warranty and prone to breaking.

  3. Yeah I agree. Its not really worth it to put the time and effort to sell your current Xbox and buy a new one just for the sake of the HDMI ouput.
If you are already playing in 720p then that’s really good.
And if the quality right now is fine then you should just stick with it.

  4. Unless you REALLY want to play in HDMI, you should just keep your current xbox to save money.
There isn’t a big difference between HD and HDMI
